If the chosen default is something other than systemd, and if the TC resolution does not prevent GNOME having a hard dependency on systemd interfaces, then systemd would effectively belong to task-gnome-desktop That situation is basically how the pure blends work already? And it still means the Debian GNOME DVD could give the ideal setup for GNOME. And the 'default' can be decided irrespective of what GNOME needs?
