what you describe is imho just a result of the rewrite of the plugin
- it works a bit different now.
Is there any new documentation available? I can't find anything.
All docs describe the well known behavior.
Imagine a blue textured background with someting like a red cloud.
Done. What you should do now is to copy the area with the red cloud (or some
other area you want to use as a source for resynthesizing into a new image
(layer should work, too...). Cut the could out of the copied image if you've
chosen to copy that part...
Now select the cloud an Filters/Map/Resynthesizer the image.
Select the image with the copied stuff as texture source! Run resynthesize...
This part will not work as expected!
red cloud should disapear, but it's swirled around and blurred. If
you use Filters/Enhance/Heal Selection the red cloud would dispear.
and everything should be as you want it to be, I think.
I try it ... but the explanation is a little bit confusing. No. No
chance ...
Does that help?
No. :-(
Bye Bye
