Hi,

what you describe is imho just a result of the rewrite of the plugin - it works
a bit different now.

Done. What you should do now is to copy the area with the red cloud (or some
other area you want to use as a source for resynthesizing into a new image
(layer should work, too...). Cut the could out of the copied image if you've
chosen to copy that part...

> Now select the cloud an Filters/Map/Resynthesizer the image.

Select the image with the copied stuff as texture source! Run resynthesize...

> red cloud should disapear, but it's swirled around and blurred. If
> you use Filters/Enhance/Heal Selection the red cloud would dispear.

and everything should be as you want it to be, I think.
