Out of curiosity, can you include the result of: apt-get install xfce4 I've tried to reproduce in a wheezy chroot. Installed xfce4 (4.8.0.3) then switched the sources to sid (directly) and tried to install xfce4 and I have no dependency problem: root@scapa:/# apt-get install xfce4 Reading package lists...
