Hi, I wonder, if these errors only appear after some time - and if you've had problems with the non-free driver too - maybe it has to do with the buildup of heat?
Are you able to check temperature sensors on the card? I don't know how to do that for your particular model, but on my card (NV92 / 8800 GT) I can do it like this (as root) : # apt-get install lm-sensors # modprobe adt7473 # modprobe adt7475 # sensors adt7473-i2c-4-2e Adapter: nouveau-0000:18:00.0-2 in1: +3.00 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +2.99 V) +3.3V: +3.34 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +4.39 V) fan1: 2277 RPM (min = 2000 RPM) fan2: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan3: 0 RPM (min = 164 RPM) ALARM temp1: +52.5°C (low = +20.0°C, high = +68.0°C) (crit = +100.0°C, hyst = +98.0°C) Board Temp: +48.0°C (low = +20.0°C, high = +60.0°C) (crit = +100.0°C, hyst = +96.0°C) temp3: +52.5°C (low = +20.0°C, high = +68.0°C) (crit = +136.0°C, hyst = +132.0°C) Regards, -- Steven Chamberlain ste...@pyro.eu.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
