Hmm, it seems I did so inadvertently; Debian's clamav-daemon uses a different location for the clamd socket so I set the location in the Debian config file, not noticing that setting a socket location also had the effect of turning on the watchdog function. I guess I will revert this then. I'm wondering if the next version of clamav-unofficial-sigs should just use clamconf to get relevant paths (clamd_socket, clamd_pid, clam_dbs) and have a more explicitly named option clamd_check_status to enable the clamd checks. -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
