Well, we know that it is causing problems for developers. (Both Daniel and me had to be helped by Simon.) So I think that we should (a) either switch it off (b) or publish clear instructions on what to do The advantage of (b) is that you'll get earlier feedback about problems. If we only switch it on when we release, won't we simply defer all those errors? Maybe the thing to do is (c) switch it off until the proposed-for-release solution is implemented.
