I'm in the middle of trying to get CS building from the
cs-pseudo-stable-2006-01-27 release. And I'm running into some problems.
Some of them are link errors, or compile errors, but those I imagine I
can solve eventually. My pressing problem is that I'm trying to only
build the parts of the CS archive that are of interest to me. But all
the various targets present in the Makefile of install_whatever that
I've tried just don't work. And the obvious classic Jam functionality of
"cd some/subproject/dir; jam install" doesn't work either.

Is there a way to build and install *only* specific parts of CS that works?

This is with latest MinGW/MSYS, and a minor patch to jam to work around
the command line limits.
