Review Comment:
   for offline tables and realtime tables with includeConsuming=false, will 
consumingSegmentSummary be null altogether?
   
   I kind of think the null vs. 0 status is confusing to read from a end user 
stand point. Can you add clear documentation about this in the code and user 
docs?
