Zope is not made in Perl or PHP. ;-) OK; so it's made in Python. Very few open source people like to run Microsoft stuff, because of their very anti-open source attitude. That ASP isn't exactly the most enjoyable development environment out there probably helps too, a lot of open source development is done for personal enjoyment. :-) C# could change this, but it's pretty new and have failed to capture the interest of people that aren't already squarely in the MS camp, and the same thing seems to happen to .NET. So open source CMS's based on MS technology will continue to be far apart, and I don't think MS wants it any other way.
