You said to me that you hadn't committed anything; so what revisions have been tagged?
Marcus tagged code that hadn't changed, so that he could `roll back' things if I commited anything. If I was to go forth with say rewamping IPC performance or something, then a tag might be useful, but for a bunch of silly bug fixes... I find that insulting. Anyone can create a tag which will help them keep track of the source code, for whatever purpose they wish. There, I've made an Executive Decision. Okie, then I create a tag called marcus-is-a-nincompoop. (it is a joke, a bad one) That said, I do think that Marcus should choose a name which you do not find hurtful. I think he should not choose any name at all, since there is no need to tag anything. The amount of changes to GNU Mach 1.x is staggering... So staggering that you can't follow the commit-hurd list and roll back single patches.
