Thanks for the advice - I will look into these tonight and report progress.

I will also arrange that tonight. curl is a useful tool and I will be glad to 
have it available - although again I will be surprised if it is relevant here.

You mentioned java before and I failed to understand the significance. Forgive 
my stupidity, I understood that:

- java and flash are completely unrelated.
- javascript and java are completely unrelated. They share only a common name 
and syntax. Surely the java plugin is unrelated to javascript?
- I am aware that many .swf files are depandant on javascript wrappers - but I 
understood that javascript was enabled and working in this build.

I will gladly download or build whatever java support is required - I am simply 
amazed to find that this might be relevant. I will let you know.
