Upon closer examination of photos, it appears that the so-called Eared Grebe reported yesterday (Sunday) at Pointe-Fortune is in fact a Horned Grebe. Further expert opinion is being sought. If in fact it happens to indeed be an Eared Grebe we will re-post. Sorry for the confusion.
