Really not very impressed with HPE's missive yesterday changing the software 
support contracts so that now it's going to be impossible to reinstate a 
software support contract if you let it lapse for more than 12 months.

The existing system was expensive but reasonable (you have to pay to reinstate, 
including all the time in between when the contract expired and the time of 
reinstatement).

But to now just bluntly state that if it's lapsed for more than 12 months you 
can never reinstate it seems somewhat draconian.
