Good afternoon,

And issues like this are an excellent example of when turning
the superb manual can really help. Eg. open the manual and type
"convert line ending" and the first hit is "Normalize Line
Endings". Trying that search before coming to this list for
help, and certainly before switching other developers in your
office to a different program, would have been a great time-saver.

Now you're being rude:) - I came here for help after I looked in every
avenue; from google to manual, and as I noted above I normalized the
line endings, that isn't the problem here.

And this is where I stop. In my first reply I mentioned the hazards of mind-reading; which is what I had to do in your case since I didn't really know what you had tried before. But I still persisted anyway since I hadn't seen any other recent replies to your post & wanted to help (I never saw you answer jem's question which he asked right after you posted), and you had finally supplied some clues regarding your situation.

And as usual, mind reading fails miserably. Then you consider my mind reading to be rude, Well, that works the same when looking in a mirror. I'm sure you have one nearby, or maybe you just use that silver platter you were given at birth.

Is the FTP upload being done in binary or text mode?

SFTP set to auto binary or ascii

And my first suggestion was to look at issues with file transfer, which you still didn't answer. You just say that both options are set, which one is it?
