Email doesn't bounce because of temporary issues, otherwise stuff like
graylisting would be even more annoying than it already is.

Normal retry times are 3 to 5 days with 5 being the postfix (and
probably other software) default. If a mail couldn't be delivered after
that time the sending server will bounce it.
