We have been struggling with this for two weeks now, working with support
on almost a daily basis.

We are to a final stage, but stuck there.

Created a new test crystal report so it wasn't one that pre-existed in our
system.
We do have a pre-existing crystal report server that runs 200 scheduled
reports daily.
We have production mid-tiers for Remedy user.

We installed mid-tier on the crystal report server to get the crystal
viewer files on the same server as crystal reports server. This midtier is
not utilized for Remedy users.

We have done configurations over and over and over with support including
several regedit entry changes. Most of them may be correct.

When we click on the active link button on the remedy mid-tier form, it
appears to run now but it comes up to an ODBC login. We see the following:

Database Logon
AR System ODBC Data Source - ODBC (RDO)
Server Description AR System ODBC Data Source
Database Type ODBC (RDO)
User ID
Password

What is odd, is that as I was revisiting the document for v8.0 and
following everything again step by step, it indicated we should only be
using a system DSN so I changed the report to that driver. Yesterday we
created that ODBC driver on the crystal report server (which I believe is
AR System ODBC Driver not the one shown in the error) but also left the
original that is being used by our other reports.

This must be something very elementary that we are missing. Does anyone
recognize this issue?

Are we the only one in the world having a mid-tier/crystal integration
issue (besides the one other arlister that contacted me)?

Please help !!!

Thanks,
Susan
