Resolved. Hope the following information would help others who may have this kind of problem in the future.
- Ensure that ARAdmin can log into this new image, after the clone the ARAdmin password was somehow got change and was different from the production system, if so you will have to reset the ARAdmin password to whatever the production system is. - Carefully modify the ar.cfg and armonitor.cfg files, so that Server Name, Sybase Name, etc are now pointing to the correct AR Server and SQL instance. - Restart Remedy service - Test Thanks to those that contribute Cheers T.
