Thank you Guys,
I have only one action in the filter that runs on Service. This
filter calls a filter guide (to perform a table loop on the target
form) that in turn contains a filter with 3 action
Yes, I did map the Output Mode of the AL ... but I did not used the
Request ID field - I don't know if this is relevant
I am on Remedy 7.6/windows 2003 Enterprise with MS SQL 2005 Database
server

Just out of curiosity … How many actions are in the filter that
runs on Service? ( I had some problems on 7.1.0 Patch 3 with more
than 1 action in the Service Filter)
Also just to be safe … You did map fields in the Output Mode of
the Active Link Action that calls the Filter?

..or maybe a service call cannot be used in this situatation?.
The filter guide will perform a table loop to concatenate values
from the database and this resultant value will be output to the
calling AL.
Any suggestions please?
Is the fact that I am not using the Request ID field relevant?
As I said the filters log indicated that all the actions were
completed successfully only that I'm having problem passing the result
to the calling AL

Hello Listers,
I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't figure it out
I created an Active Link to trigger a Service filter which in turn
will trigger a filter guide.
The AL will pass input parameters to the filter and receive an
output upon completion.
The problem is that I am unable to receive the output (I keep
getting NULL).
The arfilter.log indicates that all the filters actions are executed
successfully
Could someone point me to the right direction ?
Victor
