The filter guide will perform a table loop to concatenate values
from the database and this resultant value will be output to the
calling AL.
Any suggestions please?
Is the fact that I am not using the Request ID field relevant?
As I said the filters log indicated that all the actions were
completed successfully only that I'm having problem passing the result
to the calling AL

** Please Guys, This is moot. The AL fires the filters. They
do not "magically" fire just before the AL causes them to. It is just
the placement in the client log that is in error. If you check the
server logs you will see the SQL that the client must do to get the AL
info in the right order. You've got an issue (probably) in your

Looking at the AL and filter logs it seems that the AL is not
waiting for the filters to complete before getting the output ...??
Can this be changed?

noticed that the filter actions were occurring earlier in the log than
the AL action calling it....just a thought.

Hello Listers,
I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't figure it out
I created an Active Link to trigger a Service filter which in turn
will trigger a filter guide.
The AL will pass input parameters to the filter and receive an
output upon completion.
The problem is that I am unable to receive the output (I keep
getting NULL).
The arfilter.log indicates that all the filters actions are executed
successfully
Could someone point me to the right direction ?
