This is very strange situation....... Hugo.... i appreciate your workaround but I believe this will not work becuase as confirmed by Brain, the pdf from any other browser opens directly without giving any error except for those from the local AR Server Mid-Tier virtual path.
Brain.... can you please try opening any other extension file, like DOC, XLS, etc. Maybe this might lead us somewhere.
