Well.  Vancouver's a beautiful city, and right up the road from my place,
but I kinda question the timing - weather can be kinda nasty sometimes in
the late fall up there.  I'm thinking BMC said "7.5 is due out next fall -
let's time the BUG around that.  Where should we go - someplace where it's
warm, or someplace where it's cold?"  And the Texans went with cold.  They
have no idea...

You will want a passport, not because getting into Canada is a problem -
it's getting back into the USA that can be dicey without it even now, and it
will be a requirement by then.  You will want a raincoat, probably one with
a zip-out liner.

Oh, yeah, the food up there is great, but the beer sucks.
