Jennifer - this is not Canada's idea / suggestion - this is America - trust
me we Canadians do not want to have to get a passport just to go to America.

A passport--to go to Canada, for crying out loud. Like Canada's in some
kind of danger of invasion or vice versa. A single Canadian winter will
send anyone with silly ideas packing.

Maybe next year they'll hold BUW in Ketchikan!

... And lest ye forget

"Effective January 8, 2007, all U.S. citizens traveling by air to and from
Canada are required to have a valid passport to enter the United States."

I haven't had an updated passport in 25 years. Sigh..., Like I'm really
going; wouldn't want to break tradition.
