The only printed book I am aware of that is up to date is the recently-released Professional Android Application Development, that Mr. Meier just posted about a few moments ago. Various ebooks covering Android 1.0r1 are also available (my _Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development_ and Ed Burnette's _Hello, Android_, to name two). > Does anyone know of a website where I can get a beginner's tutorial on > developing Android apps? That typically takes more than one tutorial... ;-) You may wish to visit the blogs on Planet Android, as many of them are full of tutorials, though frequently they cover a specific facet of Android: http://www.planetandroid.com/ Also, anddev.org has many tutorials in their various boards, though, again, many are aimed at a specific bit of Android functionality. -- Mark Murphy (a Commons Guy) http://commonsware.com Android Training on the Ranch! -- Mar 16-20, 2009 http://www.bignerdranch.com/schedule.shtml --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
