I altered the soundlevel to 100% manualy and aborted Amarok. Then I used 'amarok --debug' and strange enough Amarok started up with soundlevel=100%. Since then Amarok starts up with soundlevel=100%. I've rebooted the pc several times and so far always soundlevel=100%" Correction: Again soundlevel=0%" afer a new restart. I'm not familiar with making bug reports.
