We have pretty much the entire product line somewhere. For the most part though, we stick with the 6-port Minis and buy 144w power supplies off Amazon, the 150’s, and the 12-port DC units. The 6-port is the least expensive switch that supports 24v high for the IgniteNets. If you use IgniteNet, check the switch for that feature because not all of the Netonix switches have that mode, especially the 150W AC unit we had started using a bunch of. The 250w version can handle 2 ports with 24vH though.
The only problems I’ve had were grounding on 2 of the units and the repair cost was more than reasonable. That’s not a bad record for the number of switches I have and the heat issues that were frying other products. I’ve got a box of TS-5’s that never should have crossed the Arizona border for proof. It was a game changer for us and they are now the only switch we use in the field. The only thing we have noticed recently is that when Ubiquiti upgraded to 6.0 and 8.0, their Discovery no longer shows the Netonix switches. Kind of petty in my opinion because nothing they make will survive in Arizona temperatures. I understand it, it’s just annoying in the field. Dead Powersupply, 2 dead switches which they say it’s due to grounding (all other Equipment at the same sites never had this connected to the same cables). Now I have one suddenly rebooting with poe load above 25 Watt. It is not a cracy high failure rate but none of this switches was old and conditions are quite good. And a failing netonix is a dead site. I have lower failure rates with MT-Switches/Routers. Looking back at our cisco times I cant remember dead switches. They pointed me to a hack where soldering some cable will make them less sensitive to grounding problems.
