Mike,

I strongly disagree with you.

The far left wants a living wage for everyone, shelter for everyone,
Healthcare for everyone, equality for everyone, no billionaires, etc. None
of those are inherently bad or violent. Maybe unrealistic but not morally
bad.

The far right wants a white only country, a Christian only country, death
to LGBT members, complete control of women and their bodies, not allowing
women to vote, segregation of schools if they can't kill or deport people
of color, etc. These are public beliefs of some Republican voters and
leaders, I'm assuming they're far right.

One side is worse than the other and it's always the right or far right.
Their beliefs are morally wrong and violent. They like the second amendment
so they can threaten violence against those they don't like.

Liberal gun owners like myself don't flaunt or glamorize weapons because
it's not mature or cool to do so. We just silently own them and act
responsible while advocating for way stronger gun control. It's harder for
me to renew my driver's license than buy a firearm. It took me less time to
buy a new pistol than to get one auto insurance quote. I think that's wrong
and I want it to be 50x harder to own a gun than it is today.

Far right gun owners shove guns in your face, get tattoos of them, have 2nd
amendment stickers, take family Christmas pictures with their rifles, say
out loud that they care more about guns than murdered children at school,
etc. It's weird as hell.

The most moral party in America is democrats by far. That doesn't mean
they're perfect but they are better.

The party of "family values" voted for a pedophile and known rapist. And
they continue to protect church leaders and politicians who commit these
heinous crimes. Maga supporters continue to move the goal post and have no
red line they won't cross with their support for a felon. It's sickening to
watch Trump embarrass us on the world stage. He's burning every bridge with
every ally we have and making new enemies everyday. He will go down as the
worst president in American history, mark my words. His approval rating
continues to drop and I predict in 10 years, most of his supporters will
pretend they never liked him. Finding a Maga hat in your grandparents attic
will be like finding a swastika.
