Your daughter sounds smart for getting away from Utah. It's full of many
cult members, bad politics, and religious fanatics. Of course not all
people there are like that but enough are.

I'm from MN and it's a great state. Quality of life is excellent and
Minneapolis is one of the best cities to live or visit. I split my time
between FL and MN now but I can say with full confidence that MN is the
best state that I've ever been to. Nice people, a state government that
cares about everyone, hard workers, higher than average income, highest
voter participation, environmental protections, and much more.

FL has good weather but the people are way more rude, impatient, violent,
bad traffic and driving, lower wages, higher cost of living. It's honestly
night and day between a democrat vs republican state. Blue states rank
better in almost every way for quality of life. State income tax may be
higher but they use that to provide more to their citizens.

You'll bring up fraud but every state has some fraud. MN is too nice and
got taken advantage of by bad actors. They're cracking down now, as they
should. FL and red states have much more corruption than any blue state. FL
is full of it from the governor down the ranks.

I'm not a far left liberal but I've always voted Democrat because
Republicans have never been good people in my lifetime. I'm 34 and all they
do is try to take away rights from people and dictate how others should
live. They want to control women and their bodies, ban gay marriage, force
religion in government and public schools, and encourage more guns which
lead to more violence. Democrats are "live and let live" while Republicans
want to control everyone different from them. It's honestly pathetic and I
hope sometime in my lifetime, the republican party comes around and acts
normal.
