have there been any comments on the first engine stopping with all the flames and then the second engine shutdown and if that was planned.   There were only two engines operating during the landing attempt and it looks like they could have used the third.

I could watch that all day.  In all, that was a pretty amazing test flight.   Because of the belly flop, it has a separate tank used for the landing burn.  Pressure in this tank was low so engine thrust was below nominal resulting in a sub-optimal touchdown.  No leg deploy either but this could be due to a timing issue from coming in too hot or not reaching leg deploy speed until it was already in contact with the ground.  Guessing they just need to bleed a little more heat into the header tank to keep pressure up.  Should see SN9 fly this month.

Odd, when I go to my bank, my assets are taken into
consideration for financing. Granted, Elon musk will never
likely walk into my bank, and it's likely the entirety of my
lifetime financing is probably what he spends on wristwatches
a year, but i would venture a guess his financiers take that
        into consideration
