Hi Doron, are you going to be the person reviewing and accepting this PR? I'm just asking because you are not listed among editors and contributors to the specifications. I'm simply not sure if I should also add information that this family of protocols is subject to change at any time and should be treated as a source of inspiration rather than literal specifications for users/vendors to implement. Several people spent time preparing formal documents describing message flow and wire format so without adding such a caveat these protocols look like well thought-out building blocks for others to base their work on instead of re-inventing the wheel in each project that needs this kind of synchronous connectivity. The reason I'm not making up my own protocols is that there are already enough protocols in the world and working to the spec means interoperability is promoted across implementations. But again, I'm fine with its being the case that they are not to be taken literally, and if it be the case, I'm just looking for confirmation what I should include in the PR so there are no misunderstandings in the future. regards, -- Dariusz Suchojad https://zato.io ESB, SOA, REST, APIs and Cloud Integrations in Python _______________________________________________ zeromq-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zeromq.org/mailman/listinfo/zeromq-dev
