Noted. Most of the docs in xorg had hard coded numbers such as 6.4, 6.8,
you name it.
They were probably all wrong or impossible to verify.

Anyone reading this has any suggestion as to what would be useful on the
title page?

At our disposal we have:

        <!ENTITY majorvers       "7">
        <!ENTITY reldate         "December 2010">

And we also have all the common autoconf variables such as tarname (e.g.
libX11)
and so on.
