FWIW I just ran into this jitter issue after upgrading libinput from
1.8.2-1.fc27 to 1.10.0-2.fc27 (on Fedora 27). Currently working around it by
rolling back to the earlier version and using 'dnf versionlock' to prevent it
from getting upgraded.
I also have some ideas for generally improving touchpad driver performance, but
am not sure what forum to post them in, or whether there's any interest.
Suggestions welcome.
