Ah, I just figured that I do never match the left move in the code. It is
correct in terms of the algorithm, but the side-effect is that hysteresis is
enabled even if "x" is not what I expected. Speaking of which — "x" seems to
never become negative.
Oh well, I dunno, I'd rather ask Peter how to figure out the direction along X
axis.
