HI Alf,
I've installed Virtuoso Virtuoso Open-Source Edition (version 05.10.3037) and logged in to /conductor, but when I try and install the Demo package it gives a "VAD file checksum mismatch" error. The "doc" and "SPARQL Demo" packages install fine. Is there something else that needs to be configured, or might this be a bug? I also get the "VAD file checksum mismatch" error when trying to install the VAD file from http://virtuoso.openlinksw.com/vads/ods_framework_dav.vad
Every vad packages contains a checksum to guard its content. If the checksum is recalculated and does not match the one stored in the .vad package, Virtuoso will refuse to install that particular vad package.
Are you sure you transfered these files in binary mode from the http site?
As i assume you installed the VOS release from the win32 or win64 zip file, i will have someone test these archives to make sure they where uploaded properly.
I will let you know what has gone wrong and let you know when a new build is ready for downloading.
