thanks for the recap. I don't know if there is just one bug or more though.
I can confirm that mod_proxy_uwsgi does not work with unix sockets.
I've spent some time adding debug logging to the module and I still
cannot figure out why.
The fact that the port is ignored may indicate that the configuration
is ignored somehow, although I've verified that it is properly parsed.
