Hi Neil, do you have special characters in the password things like "~%!" ? Might be a problem on Windows ? may be you need to escape some characters...
Is the authentication done via LDAP or Active Directory ? Have you given the correct user names incl. the prefix for ldap or AD ? And it would be helpful to see the full command line as mentioned by others..
