This was reported back in March and the last post on the subject (mine) was that the error could not be reproduced with the same release of Subversion on MacOS X. http://svn.haxx.se/users/archive-2010-03/0362.shtml Which points at an issue in Gentoo's packaging of Subversion or one of the dependent packages.
