That may be *A* (your?) reason to use SOGo, but it is assumptive to suggest it 
is the *ONLY* reason an organization uses SOGo.

Because EAS works, is natively supported on mobile platform apps and other 
apps. And no, EAS does *not* sync emails to Microsoft when used on e.g. a SOGo 
backend - what is your source for that statement?
