Hello, We found some unexpected behavior when rebuilding the current RTEMS master for i386. If we run the update as usual: pull current master, bootstrap, configure and finally make for i386 the compilation fails with the error
checking for RTEMS_BSP... pc386 checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl configure: error: Invalid BSP configure: error: ../../../../../../../rtems/c/src/lib/libbsp/i386/configure failed for lib/libbsp/i386 It also fails if one selects any other bsp. Now we found the sb-bootstrap command in the new documentation[1]. If I use this one the configuration and building work. Does that mean from now on the traditional (=slow) bootstrap shouldn't be used anymore? >From the explanation in the docs it sounds as if sb-bootstrap would do the >same as bootstrap, but faster.
