Thank you.
I ve checked off automatic updates in options of Openoffice itself, hope
this helps. Or am i not uisng a genuine openoffice installation. How is
one to know?
I know i maybe lazy or stupid but i m just trying to help making
Openoffice better.
Even when unorganized and such, losing documents is not fun.

Hi,
I frequently encounter a major problem using open office.
Usually i have many documents open on my system (Windows10) and they are
kept open also if the system shuts down, they open (as doc1 doc2 etc) at
the next startup.
However they are all lost when Open Ofice updates automatically. This is
very unfortunate because much wpork is lost. You may want to address
this major problem sometime.

A genuine OpenOffice installation _does not_ update automatically. One has to
specifically download an update, then install it.
If you allow Windows 10 automatically update, then document loss can and does
occur. It is your responsibility to configure your installation of Windows 10
so that automatic updates of Windows 10 do not occur.
