Hi all,

I'm lazy, if something seems weird I just remove cachedir. Typically weird is an error badge that won't go away even after close/open the file, or close/open NB. But that's too extreme, I'm thinking Central repository. I guess that's mavenindex, how about lastModified? What should not be removed?

Or maybe a /better question/ is what should be removed to clear the parser's cache and/or clean up weird situations? I'll save this info in a script, I know I've seen the answer before.

On a loosely related note about the maven indexer database. The database size seems to have a monstrous size till settling down to it normal huge size. A curious observation, the numbers come from du -s.

8000M - checked a few days ago for cachedir, this is what I remember.
19165M - removed the cachdir and took a look while building maven index.
12821M - when indexing completed, the size had fallen back.
8195M - somehow, this next day, it's back to it's normal huge.
         Some kind of compaction?
