I think you intend

mvn help:describe -DgroupId=org.apache.maven.plugins
-DartifactId=maven-compiler-plugin -Dversion=2.0.2
-Dcmd=compiler:compile -Ddetail

However such documentation doesn't show the default value of
parameters (not all at least)!
