I have a strange problem in that many of the fonts on firefox look

searched on DDG with the terms "firefox fonts fedora 42" which
possibly has the answer, but is unreadable.

That site loads fine here, but has Chinese (*) text and will need a
suitable font. Mine already had one.

I'm at f42.
In the first site, the top part looks like an image (screen-capture) of text, not actual text. The second site displays fine.

* Going by the suggestion about translating from Chinese to English
that popped up when I first loaded it (which didn't actually do
anything). I can't really tell if those are Chinese characters.

The second site is mostly "simplified" (1) Chinese.
The Firefox "beta" translation tool worked fine here, but it did take about a minute. I do see a little of some other language in the page. Korean? Japanese? some other eastern Asian language?

Don't most of the NOTO fonts that come with Fedora support CJK (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean)?

(1) "Simplified" Chinese is the "official" script of the People's Republic of China (mainland China), used in most of mainland China. The main script used in Taiwan and the Hong Kong area is "traditional" Chinese.
