I have explained the issue poorly. Let me try again. My keyboard is working just fine. However, when I press the Windows key, the GNOME shortcuts bound to the Windows key don't work. They worked fine before. At some in the very recent past, the bindings stopped functioning. Rebooting hasn't helped.
