This is not a bug; sadly it is the expected behaviour.  DRI has been
disabled on these chips to try to avoid triggering bug #541492 and bug
#541511.  This is a serious functional regression, but the problem it
tries to avoid is critical - no effects is better than a system that
freezes immediately after starting X, or a system which freezes within
minutes of starting X.
