Well that's good news, although a bit mysterious since the last nvidia update I know of was some weeks ago. The make.log is quite interesting, I'll dig into it. Would you mind also attaching your /var/log/dpkg.log so I can see what exactly upgraded with nvidia to solve the issue for you?
