Hi Kai,
I've just tested VLC under XMir with two monitors and can't reproduce
the bug yet. Could you please:
1. Update to the latest packages and retest. If the bug persists then;
2. Paste the output of the "xrandr" command while the bug is occurring, so we
can be sure which display config has the issue.
