Hi davorao, You'd better take a look on that bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer-updates/+bug/1068404
If you use Ubuntu, then install the intel package and one of the fglrx packages from here: https://launchpad.net/~andrikos/+archive/ppa/+packages?field.name_filter=&field.status_filter=published&field.series_filter=quantal If you don't use ubuntu, you have to recompile/repackage your own drivers depending on the distribution you use. There you apply: a) the patch to the intel driver (in order to be able to start X with fglrx/intel hybrid systems): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer-updates/+bug/1068404/comments/44 b) the to the fglrx driver (in order to be able to switch to igpu). Be aware that this is debian specific, you may not need it elsewhere: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer-updates/+bug/1068404/comments/50 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1068661 Title: Unity does not load after installing fglrx/fglrx-updates in ATI/Radeon + Intel GPU hybrid systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1068661/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
