I am really at the end of my patience here, my system is a E350 Sony laptop (AMD/HD6300), it has happily been freezing continuously for the past months almost daily, i tried everything, countless kernel variations, reinstalls, fucked around with Flash, with the thermal.off flag, manually installed catalyst drivers...this POS keeps freezing...i have wasted hours of my time on this, which leaves me with a really sour taste. The other day i was reading on how OSX allegedly killed the Linux desktop, well no shit.
