I am not running a nvida card and this happens to me.. both problems.. sometimes I get mouse movement but I cant click or open anything.. other times a complete hang. yesturday I turned the laptop on, after my desktop came up I went enable wireless and nothing was responding even though the mouse was moving... happen 2 times in a row.. so I didnt even start anything and it came onto the desktop in that state.

I closed openshot and opened a new window..
